How do you capture the spirit of the islands? How do you distill yellow streaks of sunlight, extract the lush green foliage tropical jungles, and capture the oceanic blue hues of coastal waters?
There have been oils that can showcase these notes separately.
There are many oils that smell yellow, or green, or blue, but you need more than great wood and clever distillation tweaks to tame these various profiles and squeeze them into the same bottle without losing any of the delicate nuances in the process.
Showcasing the entirety of the tropical spectrum all at once and turning it into a cohesive olfactory experience isn’t as easy as mixing together random batches from various islands.
You have to consider the latitude of the jungles and the longitude and the altitude and the proximity to the ocean and the local climate and that’s why we've carefully selected wild woods from Brunei, Sri Lanka, and the Philippines and co distilled them in such a way that the profiles both seamlessly blend into, and enhance, one another.
The whole thing from top to dry down is so smooth so seamless that you’d never guess it featured three separate batches of wood and you might swear it was the most complex Brunei oil ever distilled or the smoothest Sri Lankan or the deepest Phili Swipe a friend and ask them to guess the provenance of this oil, or swipe it yourself and experience the delights each of these regions have to offer.
This is the most ambitious, greatest distillation we’ve undertaken, and once you smell it you’ll find out why we call this one Gaharu Royale.
